¿Quién es capaz de quedarse quieto cuando suena de fondo el "Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now" de esta canción? Yo al menos, todavía no puedo hacerlo.
La rola, por si no reconocieron ya el inicio, es "Ready for the floor" y fue el segundo sencillo del disco "Made in the Dark" de Hot Chip; es una canción que ya lleva sonando en la radio desde enero del año pasado, sin embargo, la he traído en la cabeza desde hace semanas y no quise dejar pasar la oportunidad de compartirla con ustedes.
Hot Chip es una banda inglesa cuyos integrantes han tocado juntos desde el año 2000, sin embargo, la agrupación ha sufrido cambios en su estilo hasta llegar a lo que son ahora: una banda de electropop.
Tienen en su haber una gran cantidad de sencillos en el mercado, así como remixes a bandas como Neon Neon, Kraftwerk, Gorillaz, M.I.A., Sia, Scissor Sisters, entre otras.
La canción de hoy, tiene un ritmo bastante movido y la letra, seguro refleja la desesperación que algunos sentimos en este momento:
